We are a small gaming community with a focus on open-source games and software, hosting public game servers which anyone can join and enjoy. The server is located in Gotherburg, Sweden.
Rules of the servers and chats can be found hereAddress: gamingden.zone:5029
The game that The Gaming Den originated from, Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a platformer game based on the DOOM engine. While the server originally started as a Co-op server, this later on drifted off as a Hangout server due to a change of interest as well as player demand, as Hangout servers tend to be quite popular amongst SRB2 players.
NOTE: This server is temporarily down due to controversies with the development of SRB2, but will return once 2.2.16 is released and the classic fork is made. In the meantime, see the SRB2 Legacy server below.

The unofficial successor to version 2.1 of SRB2, which started booming with activity due to controversies regarding the development of 2.2 and it's next major version. This is one of the first ever servers to launch on Legacy since the master server launched for it, and mainly acts as a generic co-op server to fill the server list.

A temporary server running Backroom test until Climb This Tower is done.
Channel: #gamingden on quakenet.org (webchat)
The first chat created for The Gaming Den, originally used as a service to be able to get in contact with moderators easily. After the chat got bridged to in-game, though, it's become more of a general-purpose chat room for anyone to join.
Room: #gamingden:frei.chat (view)
Being possibly the first Matrix room to have in-game chat bridged to Matrix, this is where the large part of the community is present. Note that thanks to the bridge, you can still talk to Matrix users from IRC if that is what you prefer to use.
